Senior Citizens

HFN is excited about our recent partnership with Nevada HAND, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing affordable housing to seniors and families. Our new Breaking the Bank program will be offered to seniors at multiple Nevada HAND housing properties. Class topics will address the needs of seniors, such as saving, Social Security and Medicare benefits, taxes, budgeting, credit, etc... Seniors can also attend one-on-one counseling for goal setting and guidance on additional available benefits.

Breaking the Bank workshops are also available at Nevada HAND's multifamily properties and will address the financial literacy needs of children and youth. Through fun lessons and activities tailored to grade levels, students learn valuable money management skills that will last a lifetime.
