WHAT IS HOUSING FOR NEVADA?

Housing For Nevada is a state-wide Community Housing Development Organization that increases awareness of affordable housing options; creates better informed consumers through homebuyer education classes; provides one-on-one housing counseling to help clients identify and address personal barriers to homeownership; and multiplies the number of affordable homes by acquiring and repairing existing properties for resale to low and moderate income first time homebuyer families. Housing For Nevada ensures affordability by providing up to $35,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance depending on service area. (Restrictions apply)

Call us at 702.270.0300 to see if you may qualify for assistance.

HOW DOES HOUSING FOR NEVADA WORK?

Our Housing For Nevada Homeownership Program helps low and moderate income families become first-time homeowners. Eligibility requirements vary by service area and are based on family size and income. The family must contribute towards the purchase and qualify for a fixed rate mortgage.

This financing design is an example of an effective public-private partnership that provides working families with a hand up, not a hand out. The families themselves fund the majority of the purchase and thus take great pride in the fact that they have reached their goals. We are here to help make their dreams of homeownership come true by providing quality, comprehensive housing services to prepare families for the biggest purchase they will ever make.
